Stars and Stripes stand strong as Armed Forces Entertainment brings live music and sports entertainment to the U.S. For July 4th celebration, troops serving overseas

JOINT BASE ANDREWS Md., June 29, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Amazing musical entertainers and big name pro volleyball players are heading overseas as part of Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) summer entertainment series, celebrating Independence Day and sharing a taste of the states for U.S. military personnel serving overseas.

A new addition to the summer entertainment mix, volleyball superstars whose careers range from indoor to beach volleyball, and from college championships to the Pro Beach tour, will bring their high spirits to meet-and-greet events and impromptu games across Eastern Europe July 2, July 4And July 5,. Team members Sand Slam include these four outstanding athletes.

Ian Satterfield, a Long Beach State standout for the men’s Division I indoor team. Satterfield, who was a Long Beach State standout for the Division I indoor team, switched to beach volleyball after college. He continued improving his game throughout his Association of Volleyball Professionals career and represented Team USAIn two Pan American Games in 2015 & 2019, and hopes to be at the 2028 Olympics with Team U.S.A. Beach Volleyball.

Brittany Tiegs played at the University of Hawaii at Manoawhere she was a two-time All-American. She graduated with a B.S. in food science & nutrition. Representing USA2014: Tiegs won Gold Medal at the World University Championships. Porto, Portugal. Tiegs has been playing professionally since 2016 on the Australia National Beach Tour as well as with AVP.

Ty TramblieA setter is an animal that is trained to be a sled dog. Cal State Northridge, was the fourth-most assists recorded in school history. After leading the team to wins over 13 ranked teams, Tramblie was named second team All-American in 2004 as a senior. Tramblie was a 2016 AVP player and reached his first two career semifinals. He also won once. Chicago.

Ali Denney, Florida InternationalShe was a standout and won 15 games in her sophomore season. She went 6-2 as a junior in 2020, before the rest of the season was cancelled. Denney was 7-1 with wins over three ranked opponents in her senior season. Denney is currently playing for the AVP and, at just 24 years old, continues to improve both her game as well as her ranking.
